PAIR Partnership for Arts Integration Research (PAIR) is being funded by a four-year award from the U.S. Department of Education. The program will support arts integration work in six Magnet Cluster Initiative Chicago public schools.

Schools will work in two-school paired teams, with a Fine and Performing Arts Magnet Cluster (FPAMC) school paired with an academic Magnet Cluster school. The PAIR teams are: Lee (Literature & Writing) + Eberhart (FPAMC); Thorp (Math & Science) + Swift (FPAMC); Ward (World Language) + Healy (FPAMC). The goals of PAIR are to: create cross-school partnerships; create models of high-quality arts integrated curriculum; improve teachers' instructional practices; improve student achievement; and disseminate effective arts integration practices to other schools.
