CAPE SCALE PROJECT
Supporting Communities through Arts Learning Environments (SCALE) is a group collaboration of multiple partners, with each bringing their own expertise to the table.
SCALE, a five-year program begun in 2004, is made possible by a grant from the Illinois State Board of Education's 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program.

If you are a SCALE participant, please log in to your blog-folio here >> http://scale.capeweb.org/admin.

Working with partners that include the Erikson Institute, the SGA Youth Association, Pete Leki (Ecology Director at Waters School), and three schools, this project connects in-school curriculum with after-school arts activities through arts integration with core curriculum subject areas.

The after-school programs focus on improving students' academic achievement, supporting families in their efforts to nurture children's growth and development, and demonstrating excellence in arts learning. We have developed a brand new model for connecting after school programming to in-school curriculum development.
